Our friends at PrintNinja surprised us with a speedier-than-expected delivery on Wednesday – so we have been busy little bees the past two days and managed to get everything packed up and in the mail to you today!
We’ll be sending out the coloring pages tomorrow, so watch your email.
For those of you who are attending our thank you party, we’ll be in touch over the summer once we’ve finalized the date (which will be at the end of the summer/early fall) so keep your party togas handy 
While our Kickstarter rewards are out the door, our adventure isn’t over yet. We’ll be working through the summer sending out sample books to agents, publishers, and members of the Greek community – we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any exciting news! A portion of the remaining books will be donated to the organizations some of you recommended, and the rest will be sold. We’ll let you know once the book is available for sale in case you have friends that want a copy.
As we’ve said throughout this journey, we are incredibly thankful for all the support from each and every one of you. It truly took a village and without you, Count Olympus would still be just a dream. Thank you for helping us make it a reality.

Good news Count Olympus fans, your books have been printed and are enjoying a leisurely cruise across the Pacific on their way to us! Check out the beautiful sneak preview pictures our friends at PrintNinja sent over.
The somewhat-less-than-great news is that the lasting effects of West coast dock strikes from earlier this year are making delivery times a bit unpredictable these days. Our experts at PrintNinja estimate we should receive the books here in New Jersey in a little over 6 weeks. If they’re right, that means you should have your copy of the book in your hot little hands around the end of May or early June.
Unfortunately that also means the books will likely get here around the same time baby Kenlon does, which means Trish won’t be up for a party for a little while. For our backers who grabbed tickets to our “thank you” party, we will likely have to move the party towards the end of the summer/early fall. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience, and will keep you updated as we learn more. We promise it will be worth the wait – we just found an amazing Greek place with the best baklava we’ve ever tasted, and there will be PLENTY at the party!

Great news Count Olympus fans, we officially placed our final print order for Count Olympus today! That means in a mere 11-13 weeks (Chinese New Year is delaying the printing a teeny tiny bit) the books will arrive here in New Jersey. We will then move with lightning speed to get them packed and shipped out to you.
PLEASE please don’t forget to fill out your surveys from Kickstarter ASAP. We’re trying to get things organized as far in advance as we can so we can turn them around as quickly as possible.

Happy New Year everyone!
Great news, we’ve officially placed our order for the proof copy of the book! As we type, PrintNinja is busy printing and binding the very first copy of Count Olympus. That should get to us within the next two weeks. Assuming it’s as beautiful as it should be, we can then place the official order for the copies that will eventually make their way to you!
Backers of $30 or more should have received a survey today, please fill those out as soon as you can so we can get organized and be prepared to get your books out to you as soon as they arrive here.
We’ll send out another update once we place the official order for the books. We’ll be planning the thank you party around the arrival date of the books, so we’ll let you know as soon as we do!

Wow. We did it. Well, YOU did it. You told your friends, you posted on facebook, you tweeted, you pledged, and YOU DID IT! THANK YOU!!!
Our Kickstarter is now fully funded, which means that 1,000 copies of Count Olympus will be headed this way in the spring. What’s even more exciting is that today we hit our 100th backer, which means that there are a lot of you out there who think that this is a book worth believing in (aww, we love you too!)
We’ve also been getting some great advice from friends with publishing and agent connections. We are learning a lot but would love to learn more, if you know anyone who’d be interested in sharing their thoughts on how best to find an agent or publisher, please let us know!
The Kickstarter will remain open until 9am eastern on December 31th so if you haven’t grabbed your copy yet, there’s still time.
A very sincere thank you to everyone for all your enthusiasm, excitement, love, and support throughout this project. We both feel so incredibly lucky to be a part of such truly wonderful communities.
